Load limiter installed in the fixed head beam of the capstan
The rated capacity limiters in the "M/G LCT Series"
are smaller and manageable:
they are fixed to the inside of the fixed head beam of the capstan
or of the tackle, obtaining in this way encumbrance zero.
The fixed head of the cable is fixed to the end of the rated capacity limiters.
When loaded the cable stretches to form a straight line exerting
a traction on the rated capacity limiters which then gives a stop signal
whenever the maximun weight load is exceeded.
The models are two: M/G LCT and M/A LCT S2
respectively with one and two thresholds.
